Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Standley Lake Sunset” by Jeremy Janus. Location: Colorado.
“Early in the afternoon I saw the clouds forming and sky splitting, so I knew it was going to be an amazing sunset,” says Janus. “I drove out about a half-hour from Denver to one of my favorite lakes to capture the occasion. The clouds had so many unique formations and they were framing the scene beautifully as they cut the mountains and made way for the sun to shine through and illuminate them in the process.”
