Not only is it great value for money, it’s also super sturdy and fairly easy to pitch – making it a firm favourite for those just getting into hiking. With a door and vestibule on either side of this shelter – it can be easily accessed by two people. And, each person also has their own storage area for their pack and boots.
The fly is rated to 3000mm, and the floor is 4000mm, so you’ll get plenty of protection if the weather turns sour. You can easily ventilate through the mesh on the inner, or open up the vents on the fly for extra air flow when you need it.
Finished off with a gear loft and interior pockets to make it easy to organise your valuables – the Pro Hiker has everything you need for an entry level hiking tent.
In this video, our guru, Ben gives us a full tour of the Pro Hiker 2. He also shows us what comes with the tent, and how to pitch it in full.
