New this year from Survivor Filter is their compact electric motorized filtering pump, as well as a in-line water bottle filter, both made in the USA.

Survivor Filter Pro X

The Pro X Electric filtering pump can handle 17oz/water per minute from any freshwater source, and has a main filter life of up to 100,000 liters/26417 gallons.  In addition, the Pro X runs off of 2 AA batteries and is very light and compact, at only 13.75oz.  The Pro X uses three filters, a pre-filter that you drop in the water source, a carbon filter that should be replaced every 2,000 liters, and an ultra filter in the main body of the unit.  The Pro X also has the capability to run off of a USB connected wall plug or any 120-240V power bank.  Its operating temperature range is 41-77 degrees F.

Survivor Filter ACTIVE Filtering Water Bottle

The ACTIVE system consists of a BPA-free water bottle and an in-line ionic absorption filter.  The filter has a flow rate of 1.8 gem and can handle up to 25 gallons of raw, untreated water.  This system would be a great choice for the minimalist backpacker, as it weighs only 4.9oz.
