Winner: “Tide Pool” By Harry Lichtman
“While much of the NH coast is densely populated, there are wild places along the small coast that still feel wild and separate from the population sprawl,” says Lichtman. “The section of Rye has some beautiful tidal pools that grow thick with algae over the summer and provide a terrific contrast to the surrounding rocks. The grasses add another layer of interest. This image was taken around sunset, as storm clouds lit up with the last rays of sun.”
