Winner: “Marmolada” By Harry Lichtman
“The Italian Dolomites have some of the most impressive mountains in the world, and many are relatively accessible by the mountain huts and trail systems in the region,” says Lichtman. “Marmolada is the tallest of the Dolomites at just under 11,000 feet and receives the first rays of sun on its glacial face. Surrounded by the green forests, the contrast allows this mountain to shine.”
