My Camp Stove Meals. Cooking in National Parks

CAMPING FOOD
Me and my husband, Adam, recently went on a trip to Wyoming and South Dakota where I cooked several quick and easy meals using our camp stove. These meals are nothing fancy and can be made in one skillet, which is convenient when traveling or camping. I had a blast cooking outdoors in a variety of places with stunning scenery behind me. Every meal I prepared was two servings however any of them can be modified for more servings if needed. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did filming it! Below are the meals I prepared with an estimate of the amount of ingredients I used. These meals are so easy you can’t really mess them up. If you need to increase the serving size just add more of each ingredient. But make sure you increase the water if adding more pasta or rice for instance. I hope that makes sense!

Breakfast Hash
4 oz of ground breakfast sausage (1/4 of a tube)
1/2 cup of diced onion and peppers combined
1 14oz can of diced potatoes
2 eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I used a taco blend because that’s what I had)
salt and pepper to taste

Lazy Lasagna
1/2 pound ground beef
small jar of pizza or pasta sauce (14 oz jar)
water (using the sauce jar as measurement)
1/4 cup cottage cheese
egg noodles (1/4 of the package)
1 cup shredded mozzarella

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo
3 boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into pieces
small jar of alfredo sauce (14 oz jar)
water (using the sauce jar as measurement)
1 cup chopped broccoli
egg noodles (1/4 of package)
1 cup shredded mozzarella
salt and pepper to taste

Mexican Chicken Succotash
3 boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into pieces
1/2 cup of diced onion and peppers combined
1 14 oz can of Triple Succotash
water (using can to measure, filling half of can)
3/4 cup instant brown rice
1 tbsp taco seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
